However, we also recognise the importance of security when processing credit card transactions. That is why we use the Secure ePayments service that is hosted and operated by HSBC Bank, a principal member of the HSBC Group, and one of the leading banking and financial services organisations in the world.

How the ordering process works
To help you understand the ordering process, when you choose an item and add it to your shopping basket, clicking the checkout button will take you to the checkout. You may notice that the website address in the address bar at the top of your browser screen changes from http://www.inspiretiaras.co.uk to http://www.romancart.com/cart.asp. This is intentional, as you have now accessed the RomanCart shopping cart system.

Your order is encrypted before being passed to the HSBC Secure ePayment server for payment. The address in the title bar will change to https://secure.romancart.com/payment/checkout.asp, denoting you are now in the secure checkout site. If you wish to pay by credit or debit card, clicking the relevant button at the bottom of the screen will take you to the HSBC Secure ePayment server to complete the payment process. The title bar address will also change to https://www.cpi.hsbc.com/servlet, denoting you are now in the secure HSBC payment site. When you have finished, you will return to our website to enable you to continue browsing.

Please note that your card details are security checked and verified with the relevant card issuer. When the transaction is complete, you will receive a message in your internet browser window telling you that the transaction is complete and a receipt is sent to your chosen e-mail address.
